A consultation visit typically lasts 30 minutes. This provides a chance for us to meet, discuss questions, talk about philosophy of care and the midwifery model of care, assess the appropriateness of a home birth, evaluate your health history, identify risk factors, talk about expectations, and CONNECT most importantly.
